Disney takes an initiative!
I was surprised when I started watching 'The Princess and the Frog', the latest animation from Disney, because Tiana (the protagonist) wasn't a princess. She was in fact, a waitress (The Prince Naveen exclaims with disgust), who is saving up to open a restaurant which will feed people 'from all walks of life.' In the end, her royal husband helps her achieve this dream and even becomes the resident ukelele player!! Back home, the couple in the movie 'Break ke Baad', also gets to follow their dreams, without compromise! I like these scenarios. We should have more of these. Why can't love and a career co-exist? This is truly modern entertainment. I guess times are catching up and they should. Jane Eyre look out!!
