Finds: Fergusson College Road
I Love shopping on FC road. Rummaging to find treasures give me a thrill. FC road in the evenings is a very nice place to walk. Even if you don't shop, it's nice to see the Linking Road rejects being snapped up and the general atmosphere with bubbles and sounds and lights is kind of therapeutic. Here are some of my finds.
These are from the first jewellery stalls after Vaishali. The red stone fell out of the second one, but it still makes a very pretty necklace. Isn't the detailing on the elephant amazing? |
These tribal neckpieces are also from Pawan Novelties. They tangle very easily, grrrrr |
This metal choker and cuff are from a gypsy lady. I saw her one Saturday and never again. Lucky I am! Simple and chic
I love silk thread bangles. You can find them at pretty much any jewellery place. I do hope they've survived the tide of fashion and stuck around. They add an Indian touch to any outfit :)
The bangles were from one of the jewellery stalls after Vaishali. These earrings, with the design on the border seem to pretty popular right now.
These earrings are from R.K Drycleaners, well the jewellery stalls in their shop. Only way to survive I guess. Anyway, I wanted jhumkas but, they were expensive and I was smitten by these!
R.K Drycleaners/ shoe shop again!
The hat is from Honk Kong Lane, i.e teh lane after KFC, on the left. It used to be my favourite place in Pune. Unfortunately I don't go there much. F.C road is shinier. The headband is from one of the stalls on F.C road.
From one of them gypsy ladies on the footpath.
I love this houndstooth clip. It's soo pretty!
There are couple of more pieces, but they are now with the maternal unit. The pretty ones, sigh.
