My Space

I love buying embellishments. These tiny, shiny things are available in certain store in Tulshibaug, Lakshmi Road and Clover Centre along with the sequin trims and laces. After discovering that I would not be using most of these on my clothes, I  decided to use them in my room....and my hair.

With a piece of Bakram and some glue, this embellishment makes for a very pretty hair accessory. Just glue a small strip of bakram on the back and use a hair pin to wear! Bakram can be bought at any store that sells tailoring supplies or laces.

They make very pretty additions to clothe flowers. I use these flowers as hair accessories and brooches. Buttons can also be used in the centre. These flowers are a great way to use scraps of fabric

I used some embellishments to decorate my necklace hanger. I asked the carpenter to make me a board with five hooks. I then painted the boeard and then glued the sequin lace and embellishments. Excuse the work, I'm very impatient.

Trunks make great tables. This one holds my jewellery.

This saree was just 4 1/2 metres, which made it unwearable (which I found out after I wore it to college. - -. I ended up walking like a geisha, not a graceful one )  So, they became curtains :) (My mum's idea)

Sarees also make great table covers. Dupattas too

Jam bottles and Hot Chocolate tins are great pen holders. No, I don't keep them on a plant pot.

Mogra. Another reason to look forward to the summer.
